A bustling town at the foot of Mont-Blanc
The resort boasts the ownership of the highest mountain in Europe, the Mont-Blanc. The famous “Voie Royale” departs from Saint-Gervais and is renowned to be the most direct access to the summit.
All four villages have something different to offer: Le Fayet, gateway to the resort boasts a lively casino, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce a beautiful Baroque church, Saint-Gervais a busy town centre and Le Bettex, at the foot of the slopes, offers direct access to the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area.

More than 400km of ski slopes !
Saint-Gervais lies at the heart of the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area offering over 400 kilometres of slopes, connecting to Megève, Combloux, Les Contamines, Hauteluce and La Gietaz. More about the ski area >

The resort also benefits from 30 kms of slopes on the opposite side of town in Les Houches, accessible by the Mont-Blanc Tramway, one of the oldest rack and pinion railways in the country – summer or winter it’s a stunning and unforgettable train ride like no other!

A source of natural well-being
Natural spring waters have irrigated the spa for more than 200 years. The hydrotherapeutic properties of the water here class Saint-Gervais as the only spa resort in the Alps, and one of just 10 other spa towns in France.

The 19th Century spa architecture gives the town an antique-chic atmosphere, quite original in a ski resort!
Why not take some time out during your stay for a plunge into the warm waters of the outdoor pools or indulge in one of the many treatments on offer at Les Thermes – less than 10 minutes drive, a short bus ride, or an adventurous 40 minute walk down the spectacular footpath in the gorge!
